Ryōta Kise (黄瀬 涼太 Kise Ryōta) was the Generation of Miracles' small forward who now plays at Kaijō High. He is well known for his copying abilities, as he can copy any technique he sees, often with more power than the original. He also works as a model. During games, he wears the dark blue Kaijō jersey with the number 7.

• The first met: Kise mistook Azusa as one of his fans, then she scolded him to speak formally with a senpai. They often run each other coincidentally, Azusa sometimes doing duties for teachers and art club, when she going to her club room, she had to pass the basketball club building. Their first met was when Azusa passing the basketball building like usual then she can't pass because there are too many female students there, surrounded Kise that still a new fresh student. Azusa force her body through them but she was not strong enough so she fell instead. While she was going to stand, Kise approach to her and asked her if she was fine and stretched out his hand. Azusa just stare and ignore him then walk away. She mad because the reason why she fell was his fault.
• The first impression: Azusa find him annoying, everywhere he goes, all female students always following him. She doesn't like it, she doesn't like many peoples in front of her. As for Kise, at first he didn't pay attention to Azusa, he even didn't remember that a girl who fell that time was her. But as they often run each other accidentally, and he thought she was his fans, also Azusa kind of ignore and yell to him, he found it interesting. He always surrounded by girls, but why only Azusa did not interested in him? So everytime they meet, he always tease her, annoy her, disturb her. He finds she is cute when angry.
• The first one who confessed was Kise. After he find her cute side, he confessed after did basketball practice in basketball storage room. He pulled her arm when Azusa walk pass the building. “I think it's a fate that we always meet here senpai. Can you just be mine?”, he said. Azusa thought he was just kidding, but he is serious and hug her from behind. “I like you. I don't actually like surrounded by too many girls. I just want you, senpai. Can't I?”
